Newbie Writers is all about giving new and aspiring writers a chance to get works out there and published. We need articles for our Newsletter which is published monthly. We also need articles for our Blog. There is no payment for these articles however they will count as a clip for your portfolio, you retain all rights and ownership of your works and you can link back to the article (if a blog article).
There are some guidelines that must be adhered to. All submissions are to be sent to newsletter@newbiewriters.com. Don’t be put off by the guidelines, we will help you tweak it and get it right if you need. Having guidelines allows us to quickly format and streamline all our articles.

Pay: Unfortunately Newbiewriters.com is not a paying market but writing for us counts as a clip.
Response Times: We generally respond to submissions within 2-3 days of receipt
Frequency: The Newbie Writers Newsletter is sent out monthly to members of the website and forum.
Rights: As the writer of the piece you retain full rights to your work

Newbie Writers.com is currently seeking articles for the monthly Newbie Writers e-mail newsletter. The site is for new writers, would-be writers, aspiring writers and beginner writers of all genres and from all walks of life. Where new writers can learn all they need to know to start their new career as a writer.
The newsletter is meant to work as a tool to help new writers improve their skills. We are looking for articles on every aspect of writing including fiction, nonfiction, business and commercial writing, the business of writing and the mechanics of writing.
What are we looking for? The Newsletter includes a first writing experiences section where writers can share their first publishing experiences, section on learning the craft offering articles on how writers can improve their craft, articles on writing for fiction and nonfiction market as well the mechanics of writing including grammar, spelling and punctuation. The length of these pieces should be between 1000 to 1500 words. We are also looking for short humorous pieces (including jokes and poems) that relate to writing between 500 to 800 words
