Publish or Perish?

Publish or perish?
Perish may be more comfortable.
There are so many options for distributing books, poetry and essays it’s overwhelming.  Even if you have published through  a traditional publisher, that world has radically changed as well.  As the Borders close, and the tide of the Amazon rises, what is a writer to do?
Come and learn about the new options, the new pitfalls and new ideas from an author who has tried almost every one of them, except gain a million dollar advance for a book about dogs, she is still holding out for that one.

Since her first book, the Boy and the Lion never made it to national distribution, Catharine has responded to that disappointment by devoting her life to writing and publishing both her books and her client’s books.

She holds two degrees in English and Creative Writing, is an adjunct professor for University of Phoenix. She has published a handful of novels and collections including three books in her Real Estate Diva mystery series and two Chicken Soup for the Soul books and a poetry collection, Ammonia Sunrise. Her web site is www.YourBookStartsHere.com.

A native of Nevada City, she now lives in Sonoma County with her husband of not enough years who  complains he is never featured in any of her work. They have created two distinct children; one a cowboy, one a physicist. They have one grandchild via the cowboy.

The Boy and the Lion still languishes in her baby book.  The illustrations were awesome.  The lion eats the boy in the end.
