Hey everyone!

So Catharine and I have been thinking about having a little bit of podcast merchandise. She had the fantastic idea of some Newbie Writers Bookmarks. We all need them right?! Plus it does help to support and promote the site and show. There is a place here in Adelaide that has reasonable rates which will help keep costs down. I’m thinking maybe $2 a bookmark, what do you think? Here’s where you come in.

I need to design a layout for a bookmark. What would you like to see on there? I also need a better logo for Newbie Writers and if anyone out there is graphically inclined I would like to hear from you.

Love some feedback.

Damien

I’m a new Paranormal Romance Author. I love advice. I am going insane with all this self-promo and formatting and everything else.

    Hi Damien and Catharine,
Great idea. I’d buy some for sure.
I had the same thought for my book/blog and have recently had some bookmarks designed. I went on to a site called Elance, where you outsource jobs. A woman in England called Alison designed some amazing bookmarks for me.

I love the idea of bookmarks, coffee mugs, espresso cups, t-shirts with newbie writers logo, and the Tweep Nation birds logo . . . maybe even individual t-shirts with one or two of the animated birds . . . birds sell: look at Angry Birds LOL but I’d never want to make Amber or Dionne angry with me.

Weird my comment didn’t post via my iPhone.

Anyway, I had a logo done for my business at logoinn.com and was suitably impressed. But being that this community is very creative thought about opening up design ideas to everyone!

    Keep the comments coming.

I have been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator since 1980. I might be able to help.

    Hey Graham!

How much is this going to cost me!! Feel free to spruke your website too in a comment. ;)
