WRITERS WANTED FOR NEW SITE

Fractions of One is a brand new project, based in London but seeking submissions from around the world.

We aim to provide an ever-growing collection of essays, commentary, investigation and reviews. As such, we are looking for engaging, intelligent submissions from aspiring essayists and commentators. We are not specifying genre or subject; we welcome submissions on any topic. Fractions of One is a not-for-profit organisation, in its pre-launch phase. We are looking to apply for charitable status in the UK. We are therefore unable to pay for published work. However, what measly budget we have has been spent on PR; we are aiming to develop and sustain a healthy and expanding readership. As such, if you are interested in having your work published on what is (hopefully) going to become a vital outlet for informed writing, we would welcome your submission.

Submissions should be directed to editor@fractionsofone.com. We would prefer to receive your work as attachments, in .doc or .rtf format if possible. It would be great if you could tell us a bit about yourself in the body of your email. We will ultimately be providing profiles for each of our authors (which will include your contact details if you so wish).

Thanks for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you.

WRITERS WANTED - PAYING GIG

Our on-line magazine European Journal, compiled for everyone interested in the diversity and uniqueness of the European continent, is currently on the lookout for serious and self-motivated writers to provide material for sections: European Travels, European Food&Wine, European Histories and more.

For centuries the European continent has been like a magnet, attracting people from the entire world. European histories and cultures are among those that have shaped world history, while European food and wines have remained the most diverse and delicious in the world. Without a doubt, all of these caveats deserve individual, special attention, don't they?

European Journal aims at sharing the special qualities of Europe with its readers. How does Europe taste? Where are the most enchanting places to go? Which events have shaped the history of Europe? Bearing this in mind, part of our mission is dedicated to solid reporting on cultural and historical issues. To bring you the latest and the most exciting travel destinations and its people, our magazine encompasses well-known and virtually undiscovered places all around Europe – including colourful photos.
